Drop Doughnuts

These doughnuts are so much easier, and a lot more fun to make!

Ingredients:

2 cups of flour
1 cup sugar separated
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp cinnamon
3 tablespoons oil additional oil for frying

Directions:

1. In a medium sized bowl, mix together the flour, 1/3 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt using a whisk.
2. In another bowl, mix together the wet ingredients and add them into the dry. Stir until fully incorporated.
3. Heat oil in a large pot until it reaches 365 degrees. Using a spoon, drop the batter in small amounts into the hot oil. Cook for about 45 seconds on each side.
4. Spoon out the donuts, and allow them to dry for a minute or so. In the meantime, make your cinnamon sugar topping. Combine the cinnamon with the rest of the sugar, and roll the donuts in them.
5. Fry the rest of the donuts, roll them in the sugar, and you are done! Ta-da!
